So, you thought all the wonderful chateaux were in the Loire or Bordeaux, huh? WRONG! This two-day self-guided holiday is based at Brittany's 17th century Château du Bois-Guy (yes, that's where you'll be staying). The château was not much more than a ruin after being abandoned last century, but it's been fully restored to its previous rather magnificent grandeur. It sits in more than 18 hectares of park and woodlands 10km north of Fougères. This is a great tour for cyclists of all abilities.
