With your welcome pack and bike waiting for you on arrival in Agen, a beautiful city famous in France for its quality prunes and markets, you'll be ready to cycle 40-50km per day over the next 6 days. Leaving Agen, visit to the medieval bastides along quiet and pretty countryside lanes. Pedal through shady woods to arrive at the fortress of Gavaudun, before picking up the Dordogne River, which you will follow to the castles at Les Milandes, Castelnaud and Beynac, plus the amazing Roque Gageac, located at the foot of a cliff. Explore the Vezere, a prehistoric valley with lovely gorges and villages, en route to Sarlat. Included in your tour is 5 days' cycling, accommodation and some meals, full and detailed route notes and maps, bike hire (electric bikes are also available), support and luggage transfers.
