Starting in Colmar, nicknamed 'the Little Venice,' ride to 'Petite France' in Strasbourg – listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In between you'll glide through the prestigious vineyards of the Alsace wine trail. Alsace is still a relatively undiscovered cycling region compared to the wine routes of Burgundy, Provence and Bordeaux. Here, you get splendid views over the beautiful villages, and half-timbered houses adorned with geraniums in Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr, Kaysersberg, Barr and Obernai. Refreshment will of course be needed and after taking in the impressive medieval château of Haut-Koenigsbourg, you'll want to stop to sample a glass full of fresh and elegant liquid fruit! Price includes 5 nights' accommodation in 3-star hotels, 5 breakfasts, a travel folder with itineraries and maps in French or English, luggage transfers, bike hire and a support hotline in case you need assistance.
