Excellent base for anyone making their way along the Roger Lapebie bike path from Bordeaux to Sauveterre. Stay en route to the Canal de Garonne and Toulouse, or use L’Autre Vie as a base for exploring the peaceful wine routes of the Duras/Sauveterre/Rauzan corridor. There are lovely river and village routes for leisure cyclists, as well as more challenging, hillier circuits for road riders. Ride to the bastide town of Monségur for lunch, or head farther afield to St-Emilion or the tourist hotspots of the Dordogne to the north and west. There are plenty of comfortable spaces outside to relax with a glass of wine when you get back, and a lovely large pool to cool down in. Try Vanessa's delicious charcuterie and cheese sharing platter, or ask about a barbecue with freshly prepared salads and breads. English and French spoken. Free wifi. There are also a few 'house' bikes available for guest use.
