Carcassonne and the Pyrenees stages

Veloroo Tour de France Tour
Julia and Steve at the Franco-Australian road bike specialists VeloRoo have put together a super Tour de France trip that will take you from the turrets of Carcassonne and the Millau Viaduct through to the peaks of the Pyrenees. It's the complete package and includes 8 nights' accommodation in boutique hotels, guided riding and support car. Rides and stages include the Col de Portet, Col de Tentes, and the showcase Lourdes to Laruns stage on July 27 that features the Tourmalet. Price includes cycling bib shorts, jersey and gloves (plus daily washing), all breakfasts, all lunches and all dinners (except on the Carcassonne rest day when you will want to indulge in local specialites!) All you have to do is ride (and cheer). This is a personalised tour so numbers are limited (it sold out in 2016 and 2017). Non-cycling partners welcome (there will be a support car for you!) Price in dollars but also payable in euro.

Mountain Bug Activity Holidays
This tour is run by local cycling experts Rob and Emma, who have their own chalet base in Barèges, just below the Tourmalet. Their Tour de France package is based around the passage of the Tour through the French Pyrenees during the week of July 21-28. It includes a week of guided rides on the Tour de France route itself, as well as a bunch of other local cols that have featured on the Tour over the years. Includes watching the passage of the Tour itself from the best local vantage points. This is a popular annual tour and early booking is recommended.
