La Gaillarde de Carvalho Sportive has cycling routes for everyone in the under-explored Correze region of France.
When is it?
La Gaillarde de Carvalho Sportive is scheduled for May 13, 2018.
Where is it?
It's set in the Correze region of France in the old Limousin region, just north-east of the Dordogne (Nouvelle-Aquitaine). The parcours navigates the beautiful wooded, rolling countryside that characterises this largely undiscovered cycling region of France. It includes the Vezere gorge.
What should I expect?
This is a truly local event, run for and by cyclists.
There are plenty of routes on offer with 49km, 99km, 124km (+2153m) or 157km (+2373m) options.
The event is based around Brive-la-Gaillarde which is accessible via the local airport (Ryanair and Air France's Hop at the time of writing), by the A89 autoroute from Bordeaux, or the A20 from Limoges (where there's also an airport).
The official sportive website can be found here for entry info.
