The Ventoux claims mythical status among cyclists – especially road riders. There are also trails across the Baronnies, the Drôme Provençale's beating heart of lavender fields, olive groves and pine forests. There are two offroad ascents of the Ventoux, and this tour takes in at least one of them (transfers to the top are available if you need them). The descent is a dream run – many of the trails "hidden" and ridden usually only by locals. The price of this tour includes fully qualified English-speaking mountain bike guide, guesthouse accommodation, all breakfasts and picnic lunches, plus 3- and 4-course dinners, and luggage transfers.
