The Dordogne is one of France's most famous – and most popular – cycling regions. It's also quite a large area, meaning there are pockets of it tha tare yet to be discovered by mass market cycling holiday companies. The area where local cyclists Craig and Lizzie base their holidays is one such area. Near the border with the Charente, just north-east of Riberac, is a pocket of the Dordogne with quiet, winding roads and pretty picturesque villages. It has many of the advantages of the more touristy areas to the south – but without the crowds. Their single-centre cycling holidays are based on their own favourite local routes, taking in pretty villages and vistas en route. Rides are offered guided, and can be tailored for your ability. The holidays are also flexible in that they are offered full catered or half board in their own gite-style accommodation. Explore beautiful scenery and pretty villages on this truly local cycling holiday.
