Hôtel des Ducs is super convenient for anyone arriving in Alençon on the Paris to St Mont-Michel Veloscenic route. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and have all the mod cons (including free wifi). Generous breakfasts well above and beyond the standard croissant and pain au chocolat. Great coffee, too. The hotel is close to local restaurants and the cobbled streets of the old town. Friendly owner/managers. Secure bike storage in a carport with electric gates. French and English spoken.
