The Hotel Akwaba was perhaps the most basic hotel Bob used on his Loire tour, but it had first-class bike storage in a garage and friendly staff. The dining room is often closed on weekends, depending on the season, but the staff happily recommend many options a 20-minute walk away (or a short bimble by bike) and Bob says it was the best meal of his trip.
