Château de la Redortière in Lézignac-Durand has been recommended to us by a cyclist, Natalie, who stayed there while riding the Euro Velo 3 Pilgrims' route (La Scandibérique). It offers B&B-style hotel accommodation with countryside views. There is also an onsite restaurant specialising in French cuisine. It's open for dinner and lunch, but it's best to call ahead to let them know you're coming. The chateau is a working dairy farm, so you get a real feel for the French countryside here in calm and peaceful surrounds.
