If combining cycling on endless quiet roads with relaxing in 15 acres of immaculate private grounds appeals to you, then the B&B and cottages at Lenvos may be for you. Located in a beautiful 16th century hamlet in the Blavet Valley of Brittany, the property as been restored to provide four delightful holiday cottages surrounding a central courtyard. The cottages have traditional slate roofs, thick stone walls, beamed ceilings and still retains their ancient character whilst still being fully equipped with modern appliances. With two lakes, river frontage, woods and meadows, the grounds are a haven for a wide variety of native flora and fauna while the lake provides excellent wild fishing. Ten bikes can be secured in a purpose-built shed so you can take advantage of the nearby Nantes-Brest Canal (which doubles as the EuroVelo 1 Atlantic Coast La Velodyssee route). You can also cycle to Mur de Bretagne (a 2011 Tour de France stage town). There are more than 300km of mountain bike (VTT) trails in this area as well, including in Quenecan Forest, Pont Samuel, and the Blavet Valley. English and French spoken.
