Pouilly-sur-Loire - Hôtel le Relais de Pouilly
Hotel used by pro riders on the east bank of the river Loire
If it's good enough for the pros who've parked their bus here during the TDF, then it's probably good enough for the rest of us too. Hôtel le Relais de Pouilly is a three-star hotel on the east bank of the Loire south of Nevers. The onsite restaurant serves a hearty regional menu (which you can eat on the terrace in summer). Don't forget to try the local Pouilly-Fume wine, made from sauvignon blanc grapes just up the road (the hotel can arrange cellar tastings). This is a really family-friendly hotel, with an outdoor play area ever-popular with mini guests. Free wifi. Singles, doubles and triples. French and English spoken.
