Cyclists who stayed here recommended this Royan hotel to us. It's a basic but clean budget option that's ideal for the Atlantic Coast bike path as well as the start of the Canal des 2 Mers bike route that joins the Atlantic Coast to the Mediterranean via Bordeaux and Toulouse. There are double and twin rooms, some with sea views. We're told the staff are friendly and the hotel welcoming and relaxed. From the front door it's just a one-minute walk to the beach. Bike parking is in the hotel's private courtyard (pictured above). Free wifi. French and English spoken.
