Cycling from the picturesque commune of Saint-Affrique, you'll ride through the river valley of the Sorgues and Cernon, up and down the hills of the Monts de l'Hérault to the caves of Roquefort (still in use today to ripen the king of cheeses). Time still moves slowly in this area, with its centuries-old villages and the Templars' fortresses of Ste Eulalie-de-Cernon and La Couvertoirade. Cycle 30-98km each day - you decide! Some hilly stages with small climbs of 100-400m 3 to 5 times a day. Includes baggage transfers, accommodation in family-run hotels and all meals. Start any day between March 15 and October 24. Group discounts available.
