Hotel le Tulipier in Vienne-le-Château was recommended to us by cyclists who stayed there while cycling the Western Front Way remembrance bike route. The hotel is located in the Argonne Forest – it's truly impossible to imagine that this peaceful area between Reims and Verdun was once blighted so heavily by war. The locally run hotel has 35 room hotel and welcomes solo riders, families and groups. Bike storage area. Locked private garage for cars. Indoor pool. The restaurant is open every day except Fridays.
