Experience the excitement of the Tour de France during a week of cycling, spectating and supporting. This 2019 Tour takes in 3 mountain stages in the Alps – giving you the chance to not only see the Tour but to ride some of the route as well. Key stages are stage 18 on Thursday, July 25, Embrun to Valloire (Col de Vars, Col d’Izoard and Col du Galibier) and stage 19 on Friday, July 26, which goes from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne to Tignes and includes Col d’Iseran. Then it's on to stage 20 on Saturday, July 27 from Albertville to Val Thorens (Col du Méraillet and the stunning Cormet de Roselend). Price includes accommodation, breakfasts and afternoon tea each day, evening dinners (6 out of 7 nights), internal transport and logistics, vehicle support and experienced domestiques. Enjoy the 2019 Tour de France with locals at Le Pistoulet Cycling Holidays in the Pyrenees. There are two options: July 13-July 20 or July 13-July 20, with both involving Tour de France race viewing and of course riding the routes of the Tour. This affordable tour provides a friendly, low-key base in the heart of the French Pyrenees. From collection at Toulouse airport, homecooked 3-course meals and very comfortable accommodation, you'll be well looked after by Becky and Matt, both local cyclists. They have lived here for 13 years and have spent many summers catching the TDF in the Pyrenees. This tour allows you to cash in on their experiences as you to watch either one or two stage of the 2019 stages, and fill your days in before and after riding. Includes accommodation, all breakfasts and evening meals, post ride snacks, airport transfers, accompanied rider where possible, vehicle support when needed, and daily GPS route files. Cols to climb include La Col du la Core, Mur du Peguere, Mur du St Lizier, Cote de Mercenac, Col de Larrieu, Col de Portet de Aspet, Col du Ares, Col du Mente, Port du Bales, Peyresourde.

This tour is run frm Mountain Bug's own chalet base in Barèges, just below the Tourmalet. Their Tour de France package is based around the passage of the Tour through the French Pyrenees during the week of July 13-20. It includes a week of guided rides on the Tour de France route itself, as well as a bunch of other local cols that have featured on the Tour over the years. Includes watching the passage of the Tour itself from the best local vantage points. This is a popular annual tour and early booking is recommended. Includes Stage 12: Toulouse to Bagneres de Bigorre (Peyresourde, Hourquette de Ancizan), Stage 13: Time trail at Pau; Stage 14 : Finish at the Col du Tourmalet.
