Take in Les Eyzies de Tayac, the world centre of prehistory, as well as the famous Caves of Lascaux, the picturesque villages of Roque-Gageac and Beynac and hilltop Domme. Your cycling holiday ends in Souillac, a great base for riding into the neighbouring Lot region towards Rocamadour, a sacred city clinging to the cliff. This trip is more than a bike tour - it also provides plenty of opportunity to discover the famous flavours of the Dordogne – enjoy its rich culinary history at local restaurants where local produce is always top of the menu. While not difficult, this route can be undulating – an electric bike option is available to smooth out the bumps! Accommodated is in 3* hotels with breakfast included. Daily luggage transfers also included, as are full maps and route notes. Evazio are local cycling and walking specialists based in Bordeaux, the capital of SW France.
